Shipping and Handling Rates

Shipping is free on orders of $175 or more within Canada.  

$0-50            $12.50

$50-100        $17.50

$100-175      $20.00

$175 and up  Free

Remote Areas and Islands:  Although we try our best to stand by our shipping polices, we may assess additional shipping charges on large tubing items to remote areas and islands.

PO Box's:  Where shipping costs to PO boxes is prohibitive, we will require a physical address to ship to certain destinations.  

Free shipping is only applicable for orders placed online.  For any special order sales freight must be negotiated on a case by case basis.

Shipping Costs For Additions To Existing Orders: As a convenience to our customers IDC offers the ability to add forgoten items to existing orders. Shipping is not charged on additions to existing orders.  However due to administrative costs, orders cannot be combined to eliminate existing shipping charges on original orders if charges were applied.  

IF YOUR ORIGINAL ORDER HAS BEEN COMPLETED YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO USE THE ADDITION TO AN EXISTING ORDER OPTION.  

Our offices are not open on Saturday or Sunday.  

If you need to inquire about the status of your order please email us at info@irrigationdirect.ca stating your order number. However if your order has been in process within our standard processing times, please refrain from doing so.  We are very busy at this time of year and doing our best to get orders out as quickly as possible.

Returns

The following is a summary of our return policy:

30 Day Returns: Items returned within 30 days of receipt are eligible for a full refund (less a 15% re-stocking fee) provided items are returned in their original packaging, are unused, and free of any damage or mark of wear and tear.  For special/custom orders a minimum 25% restocking fee will be applied plus any shipping costs associated with the order. For customer error, we do not refund return shipping cost, shipping costs charged on the original invoice, and will deduct any shipping costs incurred by us on orders originally qualifying for free shipping.

60 Day Returns: Items returned within 60 days of receipt are eligible for a full credit (less a 15% re-stocking fee) to be used on our site provided items are returned in their original packaging, are unused, and free of any damage or mark of wear and tear.  We do not refund return shipping cost, shipping costs charged on the original invoice, and will deduct any shipping costs incurred by us on orders originally qualifying for free shipping.

A 25% re-stocking fee is also applied to any special order items cancelled prior to shipping.

Non-Returnable Products:

The following products are not eligible for return:

1. Products not in their original packaging or with any visible signs of wear and tear.
2. Used or Installed products (unless defective or under manufcaturers warranty).
3. Products returned after 60 days of receipt.
4. Special Order Items (unless authorized by IDC).
5. Clearance Items
6. Products not originally purchased from Irrigation Direct Canada.

Undelivered Orders:

If we have shipped your order and it has yet to be received you must notify us within 21 days of the completion notice for the order.  We assume all packages have been delivered unless notified within this period.  

For orders delivered (as per tracking notifications), you must notify us within 7 days for any delivery or damage issues with your order.

Delivered Items and Porch Piracy:

Unfortunately we do not cover items stolen from your delivery address if proof of delivery has been obtained by the courier company used.  If porch piracy is a problem in your area we suggest sending your package to a secure address or request signature needed on your package.  Additional charges may apply if special shipping is required.  

Warranty Claims:

Most products sold by Irrigation Direct Canada are covered by manufacturers warranty.  If you are having technical issues with a branded product (specifically controllers and solenoid valves) sold by us, we suggest you contact the manufacturer directly to resolve the issue prior to contacting us.

Following are technical support line numbers for our leading suppliers.

If the product is found to be defective by the manufacturer and is under warranty we will send a replacement to you with a return address label to return the faulty product.  Please make every effort to obtain a file/reference number from the manufacturer to substantiate your claim.

For all other warranty claims please contact us and we will assist you in resolving the issue.
