Anti Syphon Vacuum Breakers and Check Valves
Back Flow Prevention is installed at the start of many irrigation systems including Drip Irrigation Systems. The purpose of a Back Flow Prevention Device (Anti-Syphon Vacuum Breaker) is to eliminate the potential for a reverse flow of water back into a household water source. This is paritcularly critical for systems using a fertilizer injection system. Although not commonly required for Drip Systems, a back flow prevention device is often mandatory for Irrigation Sytems which are plumbed into a household water supply.
